Northamptonshire-based playground specialists, Timotay Playscapes are excited to share that they are supporting Stanwick Lakes, to rebuild the playground equipment which was destroyed by fire last year.
Stanwick Lakes countryside family attraction and nature reserve set on 750 acres in Northamptonshire and welcomes over 300,000 visitors each year. The setting had previously made a significant investment in the site in terms of playground and adventure facilities at the site which parts were tragically destroyed by fire.
The fire happened at a time when outdoor space was so important to communities and families during the Covid pandemic. The local community were devastated by the loss of the play equipment. The local community quickly raised £30,000 for the replacement equipment.
The playground build is set to commence in the Spring, with completion scheduled for the summer.
