Stanwick Lakes – Incredible Adventure Playground
Project Overview
Stanwick Lakes is a 750-acre countryside attraction and nature reserve situated in the heart of Northamptonshire’s Nene Valley.
The site offers a unique experience for visitors, with open spaces, pathways that walkers, cyclists, nature lovers and family’s can explore and enjoy.
Stanwick has an extensive and impressive outdoor area for children, which sadly some parts were destroyed by an arson attack in 2021. The play structure attracted visitors from afar.
The Outcome
Timotay worked with Stanwick Lakes, to rebuild the area of the play structure that was damaged by the arson attack, and has been restored to its formal glory and opened to visitors in the summer of 2022. The play area provides an extensive and impressive area for children to play and explore once again
Client Feedback
The attraction boasts climbing areas, slides, tunnels, nets, walkways, bridges, and a truly unique experience. The latest design and manufacturing techniques were used to ensure that the frame was robust and will provide visitors with a unique experience
