This week is British Science Week (6-15th March), and here we discuss the importance of STEM learning.
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEM Learning is the combined teaching of learning science, technology, engineering and mathematics and helps to create critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators.
The practical learning element does not have to take place inside the classroom, but instead, teachers can create fun, innovative and creative ways of learning about science… but outdoors!
Timotay have developed a number of innovative products that will help to capture the minds of children within your setting and develop their understanding of STEM learning. These include, Post Science Play Scales, Solar Station, Giant Abacus, Bug Hotel and Mud Kitchens.
