Give us a call, send an email or use the contact form on the website so that one of our friendly and helpful design team can discuss your requirements and arrange a consultation.
One of our experienced design team will come to see you and the project site to absorb your ideas and requirements and will undertake a detailed site survey.
Taking your brief as a starting point, your designer will set about creating the best possible solution supported by all the visual imagery that you will require, including a scale plan of the area and 3D visualisations if necessary.
Using your design we will provide a detailed specification and quotation, this enables you to apportion costs, select individual play items and tailor the design to your funding requirements.
Following the pre-project meeting our experienced landscaping teams will implement the design. Managing site safety for your children, parents and staff we work to the most stringent health and safety guidelines enabling you to relax as your dedicated site foreman and project coordinator oversee the progress.
Upon completion of your project a sign off visit is arranged where we formally handover your new playspace and ensure you are completely satisfied with the outcome. Now you are ready to let the children loose and watch them grow through exciting and inspirational play.
A playground can be crucial to a child’s development. Having a large, engaging open space to play in could be the difference between dreading the outdoors, and rushing outside after every bell.
The design of a playground can help to inspire coordination, teamwork, and of course reinforce the benefits of outdoor activity. Therefore, a playground can provide just the right environment for the children to enhance their physical development and mental prowess – without even noticing.
All the while, this outdoor environment should reassure children that their diversity is respected and valued, as this can help them to form relationships on an equal footing.
Playgrounds As Unique As Your Students
As each school is unique and looks after pupils with specific requirements, the playground’s design and construction should account for these factors. In working extensively with schools in the UK and further afield, we have created inspirational playgrounds to bespoke designs.
Right from the start of your relationship with us, you can help us to craft that design, guiding us on how to meet criteria crucial to your particular educational institution. We can incorporate various features, potentially including caves, mounds, trim trails and much more, into the outdoor space.
Research has shown that exercise helps to improve memory, thinking and concentration. A playground designed by Timotay Playscapes can also help to reduce stress and lift moods in children.
We can also help you to investigate whether your school is eligible to fund its playground out of the Sports Premium Funding scheme.
