Little Luvs Day Nursery in Carlisle was a typical example of an out-dated outdoor play space that offered little scope for active learning. Following a detailed consultation with one of our expert designers, an imaginative design was produced which aimed to provide a wealth of challenging play opportunities which are tactile, sensory, physically challenging and fun. The completed play space fits well with its surroundings and incorporates a variety of textures, materials and surfacing. It provides challenges and interest to a wide age group and a wide range of abilities, and is designed to provide ongoing stimulation and challenges as the children develop.
